Economics of Go-Kart Track Operation*

A. Maximum capacity income per hour for one kart: (Note: charging more per ride will increase revenue) $3.50 per 4 minute ride
10 Cycles per hour
$35.00 per kart per hour
B. Full operational capacity assuming 2 minute between cycles (6 minutes per cycle; 10 cycles per hour) $3.50 per ride or $35.00 per hour
C. Fifteen karts operating at full opeartional capacity 15 @ $35.00 per hour - $525.00 per hour
D. Operating on a 12 hour day (12:00 pm to 12:00 am - gross) At $525.00 per hour - $6,300.00 per day
E. Gross yearly income - at $3.50 per ride (can be as high as $7 per ride)
